K-385

K-385 is a multi-layer structured high molecular weight foaming processing aid made by acrylate copolymer, from a multi-step emulsion polymerization. It can be applied to PVC foaming process, such as clapboard, billboard, profiles and ceiling etc. This product is more favorable for the general application like PVC low foamed boards, pipes or profiles, it is also used for special PVC sheet, PVC tile etc.
 K-385 offers the following product benefits:

 K-385 effect on PVC fusion
 K-385 could improve PVC fusion behavior greatly and make PVC fusion more uniform, which further improves the surface gloss and finishing product quality. As shown in Fig1, K-385 could accelerate the PVC fusion.
Enhance PVC melt strength
As shown in Fig 2 and Fig 3,  K-385 can provide more melt strength which makes much more foam remain in PVC foaming product and prevent foam merging, to obtain lower density, more uniform cell structure and excellent surface gloss.
Improve PVC foam efficiency
As Fig 4 shows  K-385 could improve PVC foaming efficiency, it can lower PVC foaming product density, improve melt strength and uniform cell structure. PVC foaming recipe is as below: PVC K60 100phr/Organotin stabilizer 2phr/paraffin wax 0.4phr/ calcium stearate 0.3phr/A-C 316A 0.2phr/G60 0.6phr/K-175P 1phr/TiO2 2.5phr/AC Foam generator 0.7phr/foam regulator 3phr/CaCO3 5.0phr
