KM-310

KM-310 is an acrylic impact modifier with a core/shell structure in which core being moderate cross linked structure is linked with shell by grafting copolymerization.KM-310 is designed to improve the impact strength of rigid PVC products and accelerate fusion characteristics under less damaging the inherent properties of PVC resin. It offers unique benefits for rigid PVC applications such as window profiles, pipes, fittings, window frames, house siding, fence and injection moulding etc.

Improve fusion behavior

 KM-310 could improve the PVC fusion behavior. It will make PVC fusion more uniform, further improve the surface gloss and product quality. Fig.1 shows KM-310 could accelerate the PVC fusion.

Impact efficiency

KM-310 as an acrylic impact modifier is good compatible with PVC so that it can be dispersed uniformly in PVC matrix. Fig.2 and Fig.3 clearly shows  KM-310 imparts excellent impact improvement both at different testing temperature. The efficiency of KM-310 is much higher than that of competitive products.

PVC formulation: PVC(K65) 100phr/TM-181FS 1.4phr/CaSt 1.8phr/TiO2 9.5hr/Paraffin wax 0.6phr/G60 0.67phr/G32 1.35phr/CaCO3 2phr/AIM 6.0phr.

Safe Handing Recommendations

 KM-310 should be kept away from flames, hot pipes, heaters or other sources of heat. Adequate precautions should be taken to keep all dust levels below values that are hazardous to health and safety. In case of eye or skin contact, eyes should be flushed with water to remove dust particles and affected skin areas washed with soap and water.
